350th anniversary event
In June 2015 Westminster Amalgamated Charity marked 350 years of charitable activity in the City of Westminster which started with the establishment of Earl Craven's Pest House in 1665. In the striking surroundings of a roof terrace overlooking St. Paul's Cathedral, the Charity entertained many representatives from a variety of organisations which work on the front line to relieve need in Westminster.
The venue was kindly provided by the Charity's investment managers, Sarasin & Partners LLP and their in-house caterers supplied a range of excellent canapes. In a light-hearted meander through the history of the Charity, characters from bygone years were brought to life by a group of talented youngsters from DreamArts, under the direction of Mr. Graham Whitlock. Guests very much enjoyed the inter-active element of the evening.
